A Family Farm, With a Bit of Fun on the Side

At Porthcew, we’re a small family-run dairy farm with a passion for great produce, happy cows, and giving people a proper good day out.

We started selling fresh milk and milkshakes in 2024, serving it the old-fashioned way —pasteurised but not homogenised, so it tastes just like it should. Everything we do is about keeping it local, simple, and a little bit special.

Why Pick Your Own?

The idea for our Pick Your Own Sunflowers & Pumpkins came from wanting to share more of what we love about farm life. There’s nothing better than seeing families out in the fields, kids picking their first pumpkin, or friends leaving with a bunch of sunflowers and big smiles.

We wanted to create a space where people can slow down, enjoy the countryside, and take home something they’ve picked themselves.

What Makes Porthcew Different?

• No frills, just the good stuff.
  We’re not about big commercial mazes or ticketed events. Just open fields, fresh air, and a friendly welcome.

• Our cows are part of the family.
  They’re free to roam and milked when they choose (thanks to our robot milkers), and that’s how we keep our milk tasting so good.

• We like things simple, local, and honest.
  Whether it’s our milk, our flowers, or our pumpkins—what you see is what you get.
