FAQ

  • Do I need to book in advance?

    Nope! You’re welcome to just turn up. We’re open Thursday to Sunday, 12pm – 6pm. Last entry is at 5:30pm.

  • What should I bring?

    Sturdy shoes or wellies (it can get muddy!)

    Gloves (optional)

    A big smile and a camera!
    We provide snips for sunflower picking, and wrapping for gifts.

  • How much does it cost?


    Entry is £5 per person, under 5’s go free.

    Sunflowers are £1 per stem

  • What about the day?

    Are dogs allowed?
    Yes! Well-behaved dogs on leads are very welcome. Please clean up after them.

    What happens if it rains?
    We’re open in all weathers! Bring waterproofs and wellies if it looks soggy.
    (Though if it’s dangerously stormy, we’ll post updates on our social media.)

    Is the site accessible for wheelchairs/pushchairs?
    The field is accessible, but please be aware it is a working field and can get muddy in wet weather. Some trails won’t be accessable to those in wheelchairs. We’ll do our best to accommodate everyone.

  • Facilities & Extras

    Are there toilets on site?
    Yes, we have toilets and handwashing facilities.

    Is there food and drink available?
    You bet! Our famous Porthcew milkshakes will be ready and waiting alongside our new ice cream range!

  • What Do We Need?

    Do I need to bring my own scissors/snips?
    We offer secateurs for £5 on a buy-back scheme—return them after picking and get £3 back (discounted from your flower purchase).

    Feel free to bring your own snips if you have them.
